This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Isolated storms are possible (~30% chance) this afternoon into
evening, mainly central and north. There is a Marginal Risk for
severe weather. Damaging winds and an isolated tornado or two are
possible.

Hot and humid conditions may push heat indices into the low 100s
in areas that do not receive storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Additional storms are possible mid to late next week. There is a
Slight Risk for severe weather in northwest Iowa Wednesday.

Heat builds into the area into mid-week with heat indices topping
100 degrees at times.

A heat advisory is in effect for the area. Please refer to the
National Weather Service website at weather.gov/desmoines for
further details.

Isolated storms are possible (<20% chance) this afternoon. The
threat for severe weather remains low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Additional storms are possible mid to late next week. There is a
Marginal Risk for severe weather for storms early Thursday.

Heat builds into the area into mid-week with heat indices topping
100 degrees at times.
