Rain becomes more widespread tonight and a few rumbles of thunder are possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Scattered showers and thunderstorms last through the day on Monday. After a break from the rain, thunderstorms return late this week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed. && NWS Des Moines will discontinue the Hazardous Weather Outlook product (HWO) on September 30th, 2026.
