A few stronger storms may produce gusty wind or small hail in addition to the risk for pockets of heavy rain. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday After a lull in activity during the day on Sunday, renewed thunderstorms are expected Sunday evening through Monday. Heavy rain will result in continued flooding concerns. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed. && NWS Des Moines will discontinue the Hazardous Weather Outlook product (HWO) on September 30th, 2026.
