This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Thunderstorms are possible in western Iowa this afternoon. A few
storms may be strong to severe, with damaging winds being the primary
threat. The storms will also pose a heavy rainfall and flash
flooding threat as storms progress east Thursday night into
Friday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Additional storms will be possible Friday afternoon in southern
Iowa. A few storms may be strong to severe with gusty winds and a
brief tornado. Dry weather returns over the weekend.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is possible Thursday night and Friday for
severe weather and heavy rainfall.
