This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

Warm, dry, and breezy conditions have developed across Iowa this
afternoon, resulting in elevated fire concerns, especially for
cropland. Very high to extreme cropland fire danger will develop
due to the dry cropland and pose a risk of fast fire spread for
any fire starts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Elevated fire weather conditions for cropland is expected again
Sunday, though winds will be slightly lower at 30-35 mph with
slightly higher minimum RH values in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Thunderstorm chances return later Sunday afternoon or Sunday
night into early Tuesday, but there is no strong signal for severe
weather.
