.DISCUSSION...
A broken line of showers and storms are expected to continue
eastward across Iowa this afternoon to evening, with a few strong
storms possible in southeast Iowa into the evening, though severe
weather is unlikely. Dry conditions return into Saturday morning,
though another chance (20-50%) for showers this afternoon to
evening returns. Winds will remain breezy into the early evening
today before decreasing some and winds shift west, then shift
northwesterly through Saturday bringing additional breezy
conditions and cooler air. Minimum RHs above 40% are expected
today, then dropping in the 30s for most Saturday before
decreasing further in the upper 20s to low 30s Sunday. Concerns
for elevated fire weather conditions therefore are low until
Sunday.
