.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns should remain minimal over the next few
days. Dry conditions are expected for much of today, with a low
chance (20%) for showers and storms in northeast Iowa later this
morning to afternoon. Winds out of the southwest are expected
today, increasing around 15-20 mph, then turning light and
gradually shifting southeast Saturday. Minimum RH values should
remain above 40%, with highs expected in the low to mid 90s and
heat indices for much of the forecast area reaching 100-105 in the
afternoon hours.
