.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns will remain very minimal through early next
week. Areas of patchy fog will dissipate around sunrise, followed
by increased chances for on and off showers and thunderstorms
over the west/southwest half of Iowa throughout the rest of today
and into Monday morning. Winds out of the southwest will turn
breezy, with gusts up to 15-20 mph, increasing further Monday with
gusts up to 25-35 mph, especially north. Additional thunderstorm
chances return late Monday into Tuesday over north/northwest Iowa.
Temperatures are expected to be slightly cooler than in recent
days, with values through the 80s, then increasing Tuesday into
the 90s. Minimum RH values are expected to remain above 40% each
day.
