...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Iowa River near Tama Hwy E49 affecting Poweshiek and Tama
  Counties.

  Cedar River at Cedar Falls affecting Black Hawk County.

  Shell Rock River at Shell Rock affecting Butler, Bremer and Black
  Hawk Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For the latest waterway observations and forecasts refer to
weather.gov/desmoines/water.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts include observed precipitation plus forecast
precipitation over the next 24 hours.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY TOMORROW AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...The Iowa River near Tama Hwy E49, or from Timber Creek
  near Le Grand to Salt Creek near Belle Plaine.

* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Water may affect the outside lanes of
  portions of US 30. Water also affects several county roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow morning and continue falling to 9.1 feet Saturday,
    August 09.
  - Flood stage is 12.5 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Cedar River at Cedar Falls, or from the West Fork
  Cedar River to the Cedar Falls-Waterloo city limits.

* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 90.0 feet, Water affects the north half of Tourist
  Park.
  At 90.3 feet, Water affects Riverside Dr south of Beech St.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 90.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow evening and continue falling to 83.7 feet Saturday,
    August 09.
  - Flood stage is 89.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Water affects S Prairie St.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    this evening and continue falling to 10.2 feet Saturday,
    August 09.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
