...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM
CST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations between
  1 and 3 inches except between 3 and 7 inches for northern Iron
  County.

* WHERE...Iron County. This includes the Tribal Lands of the
  northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 AM CST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. Call 5 1 1 or visit
www.511wi.gov for Wisconsin road information.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST FRIDAY
FOR FAR NORTHERN ST. LOUIS COUNTY...

* WHAT...Lake effect snow off of Rainy Lake expected in far northern
  St. Louis County near the Kabetogama and Namakan Lakes area. Total
  snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches expected.

* WHERE...North St. Louis County. Recreation spots such as Voyageurs
  National Park. This also includes the Boundary Waters western area.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions that could impact the
  Thanksgiving travel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling during this Thanksgiving
holiday. Call 5 1 1 or visit www.511mn.org for Minnesota road
information.

Lake effect snow showers off of Rainy Lake are expected to create
conditions ranging from locally moderate snowfall with quick
reductions in visibility to dry weather just a few miles away. Be
prepared for rapid changes in weather, visibility, and road
conditions.
