...LOCALLY HEAVY AREAS OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW ALONG LAKE SUPERIOR...

Areas of locally heavy lake effect snow will affect areas along
Lake Superior from Little Marais to Two Harbors. Affected
locations may see rapidly changing weather and road conditions
with brief heavy snow and gusty winds. Additional snow accumulations
of 1 to 3 inches are possible. Be prepared for areas of quickly
changing conditions with limited visibility, especially along
Highway 61. If you are traveling and encounter adverse winter
driving conditions, reduce speed and make sure headlights are on.
