WEATHER...

.Strong westerly winds will gust to 25 to 30 mph late this
morning through late afternoon with relative humidity values
falling into the 20 to 25 percent range during this time.

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON FOR
WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR PARTS OF NORTHEASTERN MINNESOTA...

The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
until 5 PM CST this afternoon.

* AFFECTED AREA...In Minnesota, Northern Aitkin, South Aitkin,
  Carlton and South St. Louis and Pine.

* WINDS...West 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 22 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite could spread rapidly and
  become difficult to control. Outdoor burning is not
  recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
