Outer Apostle Islands Beyond 5 NM from Mainland... Port Wing to Sand Island WI... Sand Island to Bayfield WI... Silver Bay Harbor to Two Harbors MN... Two Harbors to Duluth MN... At 433 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Two Harbors Protected Access Agate Bay to 17 nm south of Port Wing Harbor, moving east at 60 knots. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes.
