This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Showers and thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall today into
tonight. There is a 10 to 20 percent chance for minor flooding
southeast of a Hayward to Hurley line where the best potential for
1 to 2 inches of rainfall accumulations exists. Never drive
across flooded roadways.

Strong onshore winds could lead to a high risk for rip currents today.
A Beach Hazard Statement is in effect for the beaches of
Minnesota and Wisconsin Points.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Showers and thunderstorms return Friday night into Sunday.
Thunderstorms late Friday night into early Saturday morning could
become strong to severe, with large hail and damaging wind gusts as
the primary threats.

A round of thunderstorms on Saturday afternoon into Saturday
night could become strong to severe for much of the Northland.
Additional thunderstorms Sunday could also become strong to
severe in northwest Wisconsin.

Hot and humid conditions return this weekend, with heat index
values reaching into the mid 80s to around 90 degrees.

Skywarn spotters are requested to provide reports of rainfall and
flooding today through tonight.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Northeast winds on today into this evening with gusts of 20 to 25
knots and waves to around 4 feet are expected to lead to
hazardous conditions for smaller vessels for portions of the North
Shore into Twin Ports, and the South Shore. Small Craft
Advisories are in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Thunderstorm potential returns this weekend, some of which may
become strong to severe.
