This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Several rounds of thunderstorms are expected today and tonight.
Some storms may be strong to severe, particularly this morning and
tonight. The strongest storms will be capable of frequent cloud-
to-ground lightning, damaging wind gusts up to 80 mph, hail up to
golf ball size, and heavy rainfall which may lead to flash
flooding. A Flood Watch is in effect for nearly all of the
Northland.

Warm and muggy conditions are forecast today across central
Minnesota into northwest Wisconsin. Heat indices of 90 to 100
degrees are forecast along and south of a line from near Walker MN
to Moose Lake to near Winter WI. A Heat Advisory may be needed.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Several more rounds of storms are forecast Wednesday morning
through Thursday afternoon. Storms may be strong to severe
Wednesday. The main risks from the storms are frequent cloud- to-
ground lightning, damaging wind gusts up to 80 mph, hail up to
golf ball size, and heavy rainfall which may lead to flash
flooding. A Flood Watch is in effect for nearly all of the
Northland.

Very warm and humid conditions are expected on Wednesday for
inland northwest Wisconsin west into Pine County. A Heat Advisory
may be needed.

A chance of storms returns to the forecast for the weekend into
early next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn spotters may be needed today through Wednesday evening.
Spotters and the public are encouraged to report hail of any size,
wind damage, rainfall amounts, and flooding to the National
Weather Service.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Several rounds of thunderstorms are forecast today and tonight.
Some storms may be strong to severe. The main risks from the
storms will be frequent cloud-to-water lightning, hail up to 1.25
inches in diameter, wind gusts to 50 knots, and torrential
rainfall which would reduce visibility to less than 1/4 mile at
times.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Several additional rounds of storms are possible Wednesday
through Thursday afternoon. Some storms may be strong to severe
once again.

Thunderstorms return to the forecast this weekend and early next
week.
