This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Hot and humid conditions today will increase the risk of heat
related illness. A Heat Advisory has been issued for much of the
Northland until 8 PM.

Scattered storms are forecast over the Arrowhead of Minnesota
this afternoon. A few storms may be strong to severe with hail up
to half dollar size, wind gusts to 60 mph, and frequent cloud-to-
ground lightning

Another round of storms is possible late overnight after 4 AM,
west of a line from Aitkin to International Falls. Wind gusts to
60 mph, small hail, and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning will be
the main threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Storms may be ongoing Sunday morning across portions of northeast
Minnesota. The storms would gradually weaken by late morning.
Storms are then expected to redevelop during the afternoon. A few
storms may be strong to severe with hail up to ping pong ball size
and wind gusts to 70 mph. The storms will also be capable of
torrential rainfall which may lead to flash flooding. There is a
15 to 25 percent chance of localized flash flooding Sunday
afternoon through Sunday night across the Northland.

Hot and humid conditions continue on Sunday. An Extreme Heat
Watch is in effect south of a line from Aitkin to Duluth and over
all of northwest Wisconsin where heat indices will reach the upper
90s to low 100s. Heat Advisories will likely be needed north and
west of the Extreme Heat Watch where heat indices will be in the
90s.

There is a 10 to 30 percent chance of thunderstorms south of US-2
in Minnesota and Wisconsin Monday night and early Tuesday
morning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn spotters may be needed at times this afternoon through
early Monday morning. Skywarn spotters and the public are
encouraged to report hail of any size and rainfall amounts to the
National Weather Service.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening,
particularly along the North Shore. Main threats will be lightning
and brief gusty winds to 30 knots.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Thunderstorms are possible over Lake Superior Sunday morning and
again late Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening. A few storms
could be severe, producing wind gusts to 50 knots and large hail.
