This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

High rip current activity is expected today and this evening for
Lake Superior beaches in the Twin Ports with dangerous swimming
conditions.

Thunderstorms are likely this evening through tomorrow morning.
Moderate to occasionally heavy rainfall may lead to ponding and
minor flooding of low-lying areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

High rip current activity remains forecast on Monday for Lake
Superior beaches in the Twin Ports with dangerous swimming
conditions.

As thunderstorms continue moving through the area Monday morning,
moderate to occasionally heavy rainfall could lead to ponding and
minor flooding of low- lying areas.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn spotters may be needed tonight into Monday morning.
Reports of rainfall and flooding from spotters and the public are
requested.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Scattered to widespread thunderstorms will be possible overnight.

Strong northeast winds of 20 to 35 knots with waves of 3 to 7
feet are expected on Sunday into Sunday night. A Gale Warning has
been issued for Taconite Harbor to Duluth and from Duluth to Port
Wing, while Small Craft Advisories remain in place for other
marine zones. See the latest Marine Weather Message for more

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Elevated winds will be backing through the day Monday, resulting
in elevated wave heights, particularly along the North Shore.
