Extreme Heat Warnings and Heat Advisories are in effect. Scattered to widespread storms will move across the region this afternoon into Saturday, some of which could become strong to severe this afternoon into tonight and again Saturday afternoon and evening. Main concern will be damaging wind gusts and large hail. Heavy rainfall could also lead to flash flooding late this afternoon into Saturday. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Additional periods of thunderstorms are possible at times early to middle of next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
