The main concern will be wind gusts of 40 to 60 mph and small hail. Heavy rainfall could also lead to flash flooding today. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday There is a moderate risk for rip currents at Minnesota and Wisconsin Point beaches due to onshore winds and waves around 2 feet developing on Sunday. A Beach Hazard Statement may be needed. Additional periods of thunderstorms are possible at times Monday into the middle of next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Lightning and heavy rainfall reducing visibility would be the main threats this morning, with small hail and wind gusts up to around 30 kt possible this afternoon. Northerly wind gusts to around 20 knots are possible tonight near Grand Portage.
