.DISCUSSION...

Mostly sunny, but still with a hazy look from western CONUS fires,
skies today with no rainfall forecast today. Winds remain north to
northwesterly today mainly under 10 mph as minimum relative humidity
drops into the upper-30 percent range. Expect a bit more westerly
component to the winds for Monday daytime. There is a low confidence,
but still 10-20% chance, of an overnight weather system in the
Dakotas to reach the fire site by Monday 0600-0800 CT time period.
If this were to happen, the upper-end of rainfall amounts would be
0.25 inches, but the more likely is a tenth of an inch at most.
