.DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected today
as low pressure and an associated cold/occluded front moves
through the Little Knife Fire. Radar echoes early this morning
will initially fall as virga due to low-level dry air. However,
rain is expected to begin reaching the surface by 1300. Wetting
rains of 0.25" or greater are likely (55-70% chance), with most of
this rainfall occurring in the afternoon and early evening.

Southeast winds will be around 5-8 mph, with peak afternoon gusts
to 20 mph. Expect gusty and erratic winds around any isolated
thunderstorms. Winds gradually shift to northwest tonight,
remaining northwest on Sunday following the cold front. Min RH
trends drier on Sunday, albeit only to the mid 40% range, with
decreasing cloud cover.
