.DISCUSSION...

For the rest of the afternoon, temperatures will be in the mid 70s
under partly sunny skies. Relative humidity will decrease to
around 30 percent. For tonight, a line of thunderstorms is expected
to move through the fire location between 2300 and 0300. Wind
gusts to 30 mph, cloud to ground lightning, and heavy rain is
expected with this line of thunderstorms. Rainfall between one quarter
and one half inch is forecast.

On Sunday, there is a 60 to 70 percent chance rain showers with a
30 percent chance of thunderstorms. It will be cooler on Sunday
with a high tempearture in the mid 60s, a minimum relative humidity
near 60 percent, and west winds at 8 to 11 mph. Areas of smoke from
Canadian wildfires are also expected on Sunday. New rainfall amounts
on Sunday will be around one tenth of an inch. Additional scattered
rain showers and thunderstorms are forecast on Monday.
