Lingering partly to mostly cloudy skies this morning are expected to become mostly sunny early this afternoon. Currently light wind with variable wind direction will become north-northeast around midday with speeds around 4-6 mph. Winds continue to veer to the east through the afternoon with similar wind speed. Expect very warm temperatures today with highs in the mid 80s. Cloud cover increases late this afternoon as scattered showers move north towards the SAR location. Timing for these scattered showers will be as early as 2000 today, but the greatest confidence for time of arrival is 2200 today. These scattered showers will continue on and off over the SAR location until early Sunday morning with a 30% chance for an isolated thunderstorm. Additional showers and thunderstorms arrive mid Sunday morning and continue into the afternoon. Expect another hot day tomorrow. Thunderstorms late Sunday afternoon into the evening may become strong to severe capable of producing strong winds and large hail.
