.DISCUSSION...

A widespread area of rain is moving through this morning, with
Island Lake sitting on the northern edge of this area of rain.
Thunderstorm activity is expected to remain to the south in
Carlton County, although a rumble of thunder may be heard from an
isolated embedded thunderstorm tracking south of Island Lake. Rain
begins to taper off around 1200, coming to an end by 1330 this
afternoon. Winds today are expected to be from the southeast
around 6 mph, gusting 12-14 mph, with a high temp of 71 degrees.
Skies remain mostly cloudy through today.
