...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SUNDAY EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...

While there is a 10% chance for an isolated rain shower in the
fire area through 1900 CT this evening, no rainfall is largely
forecast through this weekend. Northwest winds this evening
become light at or under 5 mph Saturday even as minimum relative
humidity drops down to about 30% Saturday afternoon and evening.
Near-critical fire weather conditions for the dry RHs are not
currently expected, but a future Special Weather Statement for
those dry conditions Saturday afternoon cannot be entirely ruled
out in the future. Expect calm winds Saturday evening to shift
southeasterly and increase in speed towards 8-10 mph Saturday
late evening into the overnight hours. Breezy southeast winds,
hot temperatures in the upper-80s and dry relative humidity again
around 29% Sunday afternoon prompted the Fire Weather Watch for
Sunday afternoon and evening. A wetting rainfall is next expected
at the fire site Monday.
