...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH
THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...In Minnesota, Crow Wing, Pine, Cook, Lake, Carlton, St.
  Louis, Itasca, Aitkin and Cass Counties and Wisconsin, Ashland,
  Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Sawyer and Washburn Counties. This
  includes the Tribal Lands of the Red Cliff Band, the Grand Portage
  Reservation, the St. Croix Band in Burnett County, the Bad River
  Reservation, the Fond du Lac Band, the Lac Courte Oreilles
  Reservation, the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley, Lena Lake, East Lake
  and, Big Sandy Lake areas and the Bois Forte Band, Lake Vermilion,
  Deer Creek and, Nett Lake areas. Other locations including the
  Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, Madeline Island and Voyageurs
  National Park. The entire Boundary Waters is also included.

* WHEN...From Tuesday evening through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are forecast Tuesday late
    afternoon to Thursday morning. This heavy rainfall may fall
    on top of already saturated soils from other recent heavy
    rainfall and lead to excessive runoff. Flooding is possible.
  - Flood safety information can be found at

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
