857 NZUS99 KBOU 040305 OPUDEN Developmental Probabilistic Snow Accumulation Forecast (DIA) National Weather Service Denver/Boulder, Colorado 2105 MDT Thursday, April 03, 2025 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This developmental product contains the probabilities (%) that the given snow amounts (inches) will occur at Denver International Airport during the respective 3 hour or 12 hour periods. The probabilities indicate the amount of snow that is expected to accumulate on runways and other concrete surfaces at DIA. [T (trace) means more than zero.] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Discussion (03/21-05/00 MDT): Snow showers will continue to decrease this evening. There will be a break between midnight Thursday night and early Friday morning, before the next round of light snow develops Friday mid morning. This snow will continue well into Friday night before ending early Monday morning. Similar conditions are expected on Friday with runways initially too warm for accumulating snow. Worst case scenario would be 1" accumulation in the evening hours of Friday as colder temperatures could support snow on runways. 0" T or 1" or 3" or 10" or Day/Hour MDT more more more more -------------------------------------------------- 03/21-04/00 | 60 40 0 0 04/00-04/03 | 80 20 0 0 04/03-04/06 | 90 10 0 0 04/06-04/09 | 100 0 0 0 04/09-04/12 | 60 40 0 0 04/00-04/12 | 0 04/12-04/15 | 30 70 0 0 04/15-04/18 | 30 70 0 0 04/18-04/21 | 40 60 0 0 04/21-05/00 | 50 50 0 0 04/12-05/00 | 0 0" T or 1" or 3" or 10" or Day/Hour MDT more more more more -------------------------------------------------- 05/00-05/03 | 60 40 0 0 05/03-05/06 | 75 25 0 0 05/06-05/09 | 90 10 0 0 05/09-05/12 | 100 0 0 0 05/00-05/12 | 0 05/12-05/15 | 100 0 0 0 05/15-05/18 | 100 0 0 0 05/18-05/21 | 100 0 0 0 05/21-06/00 | 100 0 0 0 05/12-06/00 | 0
