012 NZUS99 KBOU 031518 OPUDEN Developmental Probabilistic Snow Accumulation Forecast (DIA) National Weather Service Denver/Boulder, Colorado 0918 MDT Thursday, April 03, 2025 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This developmental product contains the probabilities (%) that the given snow amounts (inches) will occur at Denver International Airport during the respective 3 hour or 12 hour periods. The probabilities indicate the amount of snow that is expected to accumulate on runways and other concrete surfaces at DIA. [T (trace) means more than zero.] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Discussion (03/09-04/12 MDT): Rain/snow showers will develop around midday today with showers falling mostly as snow. Considering the temperatures will be in the upper 30s and the snow will fall during the daylight hours, only a trace or light slush may accumulate on the runways. There should be a break between midnight Thursday night and early Friday morning, before the next round of light snow develops Friday mid morning. Similar conditions are expected on Friday with runways too warm for much of any accumulation to occur. 0" T or 1" or 3" or 10" or Day/Hour MDT more more more more -------------------------------------------------- 03/09-03/12 | 80 20 0 0 03/12-03/15 | 70 30 0 0 03/15-03/18 | 60 40 0 0 03/18-03/21 | 60 40 0 0 03/21-04/00 | 60 40 0 0 03/12-04/00 | 0 04/00-04/03 | 80 20 0 0 04/03-04/06 | 90 10 0 0 04/06-04/09 | 100 0 0 0 04/09-04/12 | 100 0 0 0 04/00-04/12 | 0 0" T or 1" or 3" or 10" or Day/Hour MDT more more more more -------------------------------------------------- 04/12-04/15 | 80 20 0 0 04/15-04/18 | 60 40 0 0 04/18-04/21 | 40 60 0 0 04/21-05/00 | 50 50 0 0 04/12-05/00 | 0 05/00-05/03 | 50 50 0 0 05/03-05/06 | 75 25 0 0 05/06-05/09 | 90 10 0 0 05/09-05/12 | 100 0 0 0 05/00-05/12 | 0
