The National Weather Service in Dodge City has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Stanton County in southwestern Kansas...

* Until 345 PM CDT.

* At 306 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of
  The Saunders Elevator, moving east at 20 mph.

  THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR WESTERN STANTON COUNTY!

  HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and two inch hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
           considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
           Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Manter around 320 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include
Johnson City.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
