...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN BARBER AND PRATT
COUNTIES THROUGH 145 AM CDT...

At 102 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Cullison to 7 miles east of Hazelton.
Movement was northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Pratt, Iuka, and Isabel around 110 AM CDT.
  Cairo around 115 AM CDT.
  Preston around 120 AM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for
south central Kansas.
