This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
south central Kansas, southwest Kansas, and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A heat advisory is in effect for Barber county from 1pm until 7
pm today. Please refer to the latest TOPNPWDDC for the latest
information.

There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms after 3pm today
across extreme southwest Kansas. Main hazards will be wind gusts
up to 60 mph and locally heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Thunderstorms capable of producing locally heavy rainfall will be
possible on Thursday as an area of thunderstorms move from
southeast Colorado into extreme southwest Kansas.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible over the weekend. a few
of these storms may be strong or severe. Main hazards will be
large hail and strong gusty winds.
