This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
south central Kansas, southwest Kansas, and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Heat index values of 100 to near 104 possible this afternoon east
of highway 183.

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible near the Colorado border
between 5 pm and sunset. Main hazards will be isolated gusty
winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Afternoon heat index values as high as 102 to 104 possible east of
highway 183 from Sunday through Tuesday.

The chance for thunderstorms will increase across southwest Kansas
the last half of next week. At this time it is too early to tell
if any of these storms will be severe.
