.DISCUSSION...
Light and variable winds will occur across much of our southwest
Kansas region today given the lack of a pressure gradient. High
temperatures in the mid 90s to upper 90s over the Red Hills will
result in late afternoon minimum relative humidity of 30 to 40
percent most areas. Widely scattered, slow moving thunderstorms are
expected to develop mid to late afternoon, particularly south of the
Arkansas River to the Oklahoma line.
