.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 200 AM CST Sun Feb 23 2025

After being in the ice box for several days, the forecast for the
next several days is quite mild with pleasant highs. Unfortunately,
no major rain systems are expected... but no snow systems either.
The highs for today will be enjoyable with values peaking in the
60s. We will be under a downslope flow pattern, so saw no reason
to deviate from taking the higher side of the temperature guidance
envelop. Values in the 60s today and 70s Monday as the downslope
flow pattern and dry airmass continues. Some minor good news... even
with the warmth, both winds and afternoon relative humidities look
too marginal for any major fire weather concerns.

Moving forward through the next business week, the mild temperatures
and tranquil weather conditions will continue for Tuesday as well.
A weak by dry fropa is expected Tuesday evening, but really no major
impacts are expected other than a wind shift and a slight decrease
to closer to normal highs Wednesday. This slight "cool down" doesn`t
last long with a return to more downsloping Thursday and Friday.
Temperatures should trend back to above normal, but still quite enjoyable
with values peaking in the 60s and 70s. Not seeing any major synoptic
rain makers for the rest of the period, but not seeing any major
Arctic outbreaks either.
