A weak upper level wave will move across the state this evening. This
feature along with low level moisture convergence could spark off
some scattered strong storms this evening. Have the highest confidence
of storms east of Highway 283, where convergence is the strongest
and lift along a sfc boundary. The main threats would be strong outflow
winds and some hail. Otherwise, today will be warm with highs in
the upper 80s. Lows in the 40s to 50s are expected tonight.

A cold front will move through later tonight. This will result in
cooler highs for Sunday. Highs should peak in the upper 60s to lower
70s. Lows heading into Monday morning will be a little cooler with
values bottoming out in the lower 40s.

Dry northwesterly flow aloft is expected for much of next week. Shortwave
ridging is indicated by both the GEFS and ENS during the middle portion
of the business week. This will result in a thunderstorm free forecast
as well as very warm to hot temperatures. The hottest temperatures
are expected midweek onward. Here, 90s look on track. Lows will be
mild with values ranging from the 50s to 60s.

VFR expected through TAF pd. There will be a chance of evening storms.
Right now, do not have the highest confidence of location, so will
keep out of TAF for now. Otherwise, breezy southwesterly winds 15-20
kt expected today. Eventually a cold front will work across the terminals
this evening with shifting winds behind it.
