...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL BOX BUTTE AND
SOUTH CENTRAL DAWES COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM MDT...

At 758 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Box Butte Campground, or 27 miles south of Chadron, moving northwest
at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Box Butte Campground, Box Butte Reservoir, and Box Butte Dam.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rain is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
