...AN AREA OF SNOW SHOWERS WILL AFFECT SOUTHERN SCOTTS BLUFF...WEST
CENTRAL MORRILL AND NORTHEASTERN BANNER COUNTIES...

At 646 PM MST...An area of snow showers was affecting portions of
southern Scotts Bluff...western Morrill and northeastern Banner
Counties. Periods of snow showers will persist through 730 PM MST.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 25 mph and visibilities less than one
         half mile.

SOURCE...Public.

IMPACT...Hazardous travel conditions due to slick roads and low
         visibilities.

Locations impacted include...
Scottsbluff, Gering, Bayard, Terrytown, Minatare, Melbeta, McGrew,
Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area, Scotts Bluff National Monument,
Chimney Rock National Historic Site, Hubbard Hill, Scottsbluff
Airport, Wrights Gap, Moomaw Corner, and South Bayard Junction.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Expect rapid changes in weather and road conditions. Motorists are
urged to use extreme caution if traveling through these areas!

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the area. Please monitor
local media outlets and the National Weather Service for further
statements.
