At 918 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Wheatland Reservoir Number 3 to 11 miles east of Rock River to 11 miles southeast of McFadden to near Deep Creek Campground. Movement was southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Rock River, Bosler, and Wheatland Reservoir Number 3. This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 275 and 297. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding.
