.DISCUSSION...
Near critical fire weather conditions expected today for the fire
area with afternoon minimal relative humidity values dropping into
the 8 to 10 percent range. Fairly light westerly winds between 10
and 13 mph will occasionally gust between 12 to 17 mph this afternoon
before turning southerly this evening around 8 PM. Light winds are
expected overnight between 5 and 10 mph from the south and slowly
changing to westerly around 8 AM tomorrow. Poor overnight humidity
recoveries are expected tonight into Monday morning, only improving
to around 25 to 30 percent. Near critical fire weather conditions area
expected Monday as well, with afternoon minimum relative humidity values
dropping back into the 10 to 12 percent range, though winds will be
lighter.
