.DISCUSSION...
Near critical to critical fire weather conditions continue west
of the Laramie Range on Saturday, particularly in Carbon County.
In addition to the gusty westerly winds and low RH dropping to
near 10%, isolated storms in the afternoon and evening hours may
bring gusty winds and a few lightning strikes with little to
no rainfall. This activity may produce isolated wetting rainfall
at the northern and eastern peripheries of the forecast area.
A backdoor cold front Saturday evening will lead to fair to
excellent RH recoveries across the area, and reduced fire
weather concerns on Sunday. Higher RH and/or lighter winds
will continue to keep fire weather concerns down into the middle
part of next week.
