.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire weather concerns are expected today for much of the area,
especially along and east of the Laramie Range. Afternoon minimum
humidity values will drop into the 15 to 25 percent range everywhere,
with the lowest values along and east of the Laramie Range. Breezy winds
are expected this afternoon, with gusts between 35 to 40mph, especially
in Carbon County. Moisture starts to trickle back into the area on
Saturday where afternoon humidity values drop into the 20 to 30 percent
range, though winds will remain quite breezy. Gusts up to 40mph will be
possible again on Saturday, especially across Carbon County. Afternoon
humidity values will drop into the 25 to 35 percent range each day for
much of the upcoming week, before drier conditions return Wednesday
onwards. Another breezy day on Sunday will increase fire concerns once
more, but winds start to calm down next week.
