.DISCUSSION...Fire weather concerns will remain low for one more day
before the next heat wave develops over the region for this weekend.
Another round of widely scattered to scattered thunderstorms expected
today, mainly over southeast Wyoming with daytime humidities ranging
from 20% to 30% for most of the area. Much drier conditions and
hot temperatures expected this weekend with near record high
temperatures likely on Sunday. Daytime minimum humidities should
bottom out in the single digits, but winds should remain light
for most of the region. A strong August cold front is expected to
move into the area by late Monday and Tuesday, resulting in much
cooler temperatures and higher humidities.
