THIS EVENING FOR WESTERN CARBON COUNTY...
.DISCUSSION...
Breezy southwest winds will continue across Carbon county, while
monsoon moisture will be shifted slightly to the east. As a result
expect RH to be a touch lower in western Carbon county this afternoon,
increasing the probability for critical fire weather conditions. A
Red Flag Warning has been issued for fire weather zones 422 and 423.
Elevated fire weather conditions are anticipated for most of the rest
of southeast Wyoming, with westerly winds gusting 25 to 30 mph at
times and RH dropping to between 15 and 18%.
RH recovery will be much better tonight, with the possible exception
of the middle-elevations (7.5-9kft) around the Snowy and Sierra Madre
ranges. Expect higher humidity Wednesday and Thursday for most of
the area, but elevated fire weather conditions will still be possible
in western Carbon county on Wednesday. Wetting rainfall chances will
be fairly high along and east of the Laramie range for Wednesday
and Thursday.
