Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
151 AM MST Sat Nov 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...

We will have near-critical to Red Flag fire weather concerns today
across portions of southeast Wyoming as we have a strong cold front
approaching the region. Southwest wind gusts will pick up after 0800
for many areas, and combine with very dry air for this time of year.
Afternoon minimum humidity readings by 1400 will hover near 10-15%
for several Fire Weather Zones in southeast Wyoming that are dry.
There will be a cold front that arrives on Sunday, diminishing fire
weather concerns across the area.
