National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
251 PM MDT Thu Jul 3 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Plentiful moisture is streaming into the area from the southwest
today, which will reduce fire weather concerns through Friday.
Showers and thunderstorms this afternoon through late Friday
evening will bring chances for lightning & gusty winds, but also
decent wetting rainfall. Drier air will work into Carbon and
Albany counties over the weekend and into early next week, with
breezy southwest winds expected in Carbon county on Saturday.
