...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulation between 2 and 7
  inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Columbia, Northern Lycoming, Potter, Schuylkill, and Tioga
  Counties.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may
  down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel
  could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the
  Friday morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter
storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains,
booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help
you survive in case you become stranded.

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total accumulation between 6 and 12
  inches, with the highest amounts on the ridgetops. Lower
  elevations could see 3 to 6 inches of snow accumulation. Winds
  gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Cambria and Somerset Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  will likely significantly impact the Friday morning commute.
