...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHERN FRANKLIN AND SOUTHEASTERN FULTON COUNTIES...

At 829 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Mont Alto to Mercersburg to Locust Grove, moving south
at 5 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Waynesboro, Greencastle, Warfordsburg, Wayne Heights, Mercersburg,
Rouzerville, Marion, Fort Loudon, Big Cove Tannery, Claylick,
Maugansville, and State Line.

This includes the following Interstates...
 Interstate 70 from mile markers 167 to 170.
 Interstate 81 from mile markers 0 to 9.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
