...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN HUNTINGDON...
NORTHERN FRANKLIN...SOUTHWESTERN JUNIATA AND WEST CENTRAL PERRY
COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM EDT...

At 721 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17
miles south of Huntingdon, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Rockhill Furnace, Perulack, Big Spring State Park, Doylesburg,
Orbisonia, Shirleysburg, and New Germantown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
south central and central Pennsylvania.
