Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
1054 AM EDT Sat Jun 28 2025

A weak cold front over the central Great Lakes this morning will
move across the Keystone state today. Several bands of showers and
storms will be ahead and along the cold front. Some of these
storms will be strong to severe, with damaging wind gusts being
the main hazard. Locally heavy rainfall will also be possible.

Today will be much warmer than yesterday with high temperatures
ranging from the low 80s over the north and west, to the low 90s
in the south.

Weak high pressure will build into the area tonight and remain
over the area into Sunday. This will bring an end to the showers
and storms later today, and lower humidity levels will prevail
on Sunday.

Another cold front will move eastward toward the Keystone state
by later on Monday. This will result in another chance for more
showers and storms, before dry weather returns for mid week.
