Another very warm early summer day is on tap for most of
Pennsylvania today, with afternoon showers and scattered
thunderstorms focused across the northwest half of the
Commonwealth. High temperatures will range from 75 in Erie to near 90
degrees across the south central valleys and southeastern
piedmont.

Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected
mainly during the afternoon and evening on Friday and Saturday,
with the primary location shifting farther to the southeast with
time.

The weather pattern will remain unsettled from Sunday through
early next week with more episodic showers and storms. Daytime
max temperatures will trend cooler to near or slightly below the
historical average for early June.
